1927 The Princeton Star, Thursday, November 10, 1927, page 1 – ” … On Fenchurch Ave. and immediately opposite the house recently reconstructed by Mr. Howse and at present occupied by Rev. A.J. Williams and family, Mr. Stitt has just started excavation for the basement of a house 24×42 feet. It will be located on lot 2, block 12. Lots 1 and 2 in this block were recently purchased by Mr. Stitt from Mr. J. Harper, the purchase price being $205 for the two lots. The property was purchased by Mr. Harper from the townsite company in 1914 for $300.”
